Frustated

I told myself today, no matter what happens, I will post this post today. Yes, and now I am blogging about it. I just feel so frustated today after attending 2 practicals consecutively with only approximately 15 minutes of break in between the 4 hours practicals. The 2 practicals required to observe slides. The reason I am blabbing about this is all because of microscope. FYI, microscope is one of the most important tool for the bio-science students. As I am studying biomedical, microscope really plays an important role to us as a student during practicals. The main prob here is, there is lack of microscope in the laboratory. One microscope has to be shared by 4 persons! This is RIDICULOUS! How can WE, students learn while having lack of instruments in the lab. I can tolerate with the rule of each practical has to be done in groups but a group with one microscope?!? Hey, come on, you always said WE represents UTAR. But now, what kind of service are you providing to us?! I feel so angry as I have to wait for so long in the lab in order to get to use the microscope for just a few minutes to view my slides.

Besides, you are expecting us to finish up so many stainings and viewing of the slides within two hours with insufficient instruments provided by the uni?!? In addition to that, some of the microscope for certain groups are spoilt. O.O So, can you imagine, the microscope is no longer shared by 4 persons. It is now shared by MANY people from different groups! When I saw the locked cupboard in the lab with a few more microscopes sitting nicely inside it, I feel more frustrated and angry. Can't they just have at least two or three microscopes per group!? We paid to learn. We paid to get the perfect service. Hey, and what kind of learning environment you are providing us!? Damn it!

Taking photos of those slides also make me feel agitated! I do have a perfect Sony Cybershot camera and hey, my dad bought it for me because of my hobby of taking HUMAN photos! and not those bacteria photos!! Each time I bring my camera into the lab, the lab is contaminating my precious camera! Come on, it is MICROBIOLOGY LAB you know!! Dealing with different types of bacteria. Me, myself also need to do some aseptic techniques when I enter or leave the lab, then how about my camera?!? How am I going to clean my camera? Hey, you are expecting us to do staining for so many different kinds of bacteria and we are require to take photos of it!?! The bacteria still looks small although we have viewed it under magnification of 1000X. Not clear, "oh, just put it inside your lab report also la". Then, what is the purpose of us taking photos of it?? Wasting my time and energy. Wasting my battery also. *rolling eyes*

Technology has become so important that makes human depends a lot on it. Camera has also become so important in this uni as if you do not own one, sure die without knowing the reason why. With all these happening today, I wonder how am I going to finish up my FYP in a fast mode as instruments are lacking in this uni.

Ahh, now I feel better.
